BEARS to SUPER BOWL XLI!!

I have been at a gymnastics meet all day... Mrawr.
My sister did qualify for state though, so I'm proud of her.

Tomorrow, I will be decked out in orange and blue. Huzzah!
Oh, and yesterday we did VERY well at the conference speech meet. We pwned. 1st place as a team with at least one person in every event breaking finals (most broke 2). Yes.

But now I have to prepare for new classes tomorrow.
They are as follows:

0 - Early Bird Strength and Speed Training - Jurkovich
1 - Spanish 4 - Lopez
2 - Wind Symphony/ A Cappella Choir - Leeb/Barsch - Blue/Silver
3 (3rd quarter) - AP U.S. Government - Hurt
3 (4th quarter) - Foods - (don't know teacher)
4 - Accelerated Honors English 3 - Query

AHH!
And I have to prepare The Great Gatsby for English and I have some reading/taking of notes to do for AP US GOV.
Yay for burning the candle at both ends and not having ANY time to do things!!

And we had a few verbal run-ins with Morris' cheerleaders.
Funny thing is...
We have a speech meet tomorrow at Morris.

Prayer Request

Well, I'm slightly frustrated.
And slightly stressed out.
I just can't wait for this week to be over, I hate all of the end of the semester junk I am doing.

I had fun today, though.
It was really fun.

We watched Castle in the Sky, an anime movie. It was really good. We were also going to watch Spirited Away, but we didn't have time. Poopy. But still, yeah. So if any of you ever want to get me something special, I would like Howl's Moving Castle, Castle in the Sky, and Spirited Away... Just for the record...

But after we were done watching the movie, Nick-at-Nite was on, and Full House was on.
It was a really sad Full House. It was the episode where Jesse's grandpa dies, and everyone's really sad about it. And I don't really know what it was, but I just randomly started crying.

Well, I do know what it was.
This past week was an emotional rollercoaster (I'm good now) due to some personal stuff.
Then today my sister got a phone call from one of her little buddies from Kids Connection at church.

You see, there's this really cute girl named Asia. Asia is partly deaf and has (I guess) some severe heart problems. Well, over the past couple of years, she has grown rather close to Heather, my sister and vice versa. I suppose that the past two weeks, Asia was ill, as she was not at church. It turns out that she was sick, and this week she was hospitalized. Sadly, the doctors say that she has only 2% of her heart left, and she probably isn't going to make it. She was allowed to return home today, and was very restless and lonely and wanted to talk to Heather. So she called her and they talked.

It was very difficult for Heather to speak with her, knowing what we knew, and knowing that Asia probably did not understand.

It was hard on me too, because I know Asia, and she is so sweet.

I just hate that kind of pain.
But it's part of life, and it can only make us stronger.

I do have a request though.
I would like for anyone who reads this post to say a small prayer for Asia.
I do know that she is saved, and I will see her in Heaven.
She is still with us, and I would like to pray for her.

For me?

You know, Josh says that we shouldn't cry about people who are saved, because we will see them again. I think that it's okay to express emotion for someone. Even though you will get to see them again, it doesn't hurt to shed a few tears. You will miss them. I cry when I miss people. The people we should cry over, though, are those who are not saved. That makes sense.

----

Well, I'm spent.
I really want to sleep now.

Good news: I have a voice now, and I don't sound like a man going through puberty anymore!!!
